Professor Rashmi Dyal-Chand Wins AALS Scholarly Papers Competition
To encourage and recognize excellent legal scholarship and to broaden participation by new law teachers in the Annual Meeting program, the Association of American Law Schools (AALS) sponsors an annual Call for Scholarly Papers.
Professor Rashmi Dyal-Chand is the winner of the 2006 AALS Scholarly Papers Competition. Professor Rashmi Dyal-Chand will present her paper, "Human Worth as Collateral," at the AALS Scholarly Papers Presentation, to be held in January during the AALS annual meeting.
"This is wonderful recognition for one of our outstanding faculty members," said Dean Emily Spieler. "Rashmi is a fantastic teacher and clearly one of the best young scholars in the legal academy. We take great pride in her accomplishments."
