African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights - established by the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights, adopted in 1981 by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), the ACHPR is charged with ensuring the promotion and protection of Human and Peoples' Rights throughout the African Continent.

Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL) - non-governmental, non-profit organization with consultative status before the Organization of American States (OAS) and the United Nations (UN), and observer status before the African Commission of Human Rights.
Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research - CGIAR's mission is to contribute to food security and poverty eradication in developing countries through research, partnership, capacity building, and policy support.
Court of Justice of the European Communities (ECJ) and Court of First Instance (CFI) - It is the responsibility of the Court of Justice to ensure that the law is observed in the interpretation and applications of the Treaties establishing the European Communities and of the provisions laid down by the competent Community institutions. The Court of First Instance of the European Communities is an independent court attached to the Court of Justice.

Greenpeace - campaigning organization that uses non-violent direct action and creative communication to expose global environmental problems and to promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future.
Group of 77 (G-77) - largest Third World coalition in the United Nations; provides the means for the developing world to articulate and promote its collective economic interests and enhance its joint negotiating capacity on all major international economic issues in the United Nations system, and promote economic and technical cooperation among developing countries.
Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace, Stanford University - a world-renowned library and archives, and a unique center of scholarship and public policy research, committed to generating ideas that define a free society.
Human Rights Watch - dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world.
IGC (Institute for Global Communications) Internet's Progressive Gateway - to advance the work of progressive organizations and individuals for peace, justice, economic opportunity, human rights, democracy and environmental sustainability through strategic use of online technologies.
Inter-American Commission on Human Rights - an autonomous organ of the Organization of American States (OAS), its mandate is found in the OAS Charter and the American Convention on Human Rights.
Inter-American Court of Human Rights - established by the American Convention of Human Rights, of the Organization of American States, to ensure, along with the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights, compliance with the Convention.
INTERIGHTS, the International Centre for the Legal Protection of Human Rights - established to provide leadership in the development of legal protection for human rights and freedoms through the effective use of international and comparative human rights law.
International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRI) - internationally recognized public policy center organized by and for people with disabilities, ICDRI seeks to increase opportunities for people with disabilities by identifying barriers to participation and promoting best practices and universal design of technology for the global community.
International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission - the mission of the IGLHRC is to secure the full enjoyment of the human rights of all people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of sexual orientation or expression, gender identity or expression, and/or HIV status.
International Labour Organization (ILO) - UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights.
International Monetary Fund - established to promote international monetary cooperation, exchange stability, and orderly exchange arrangements; to foster economic growth and high levels of employment; and to provide temporary financial assistance to countries to help ease balance of payments adjustment.
Human rights first (Formerly Lawyers Committee for Human Rights) works in the U.S. and abroad to create a secure and humane world by advancing justice, human dignity and respect for the rule of law.

Oxfam International - a development, relief, and campaigning organisation dedicated to finding lasting solutions to poverty and suffering around the world.
Project on International Courts and Tribunals - internationally based effort to address, with a comprehensive and holistic approach, all existing international courts and tribunals. It couples academic research with concrete action aimed at facilitating the work of international courts and tribunals at developing the lawyering skills of potential actors, in particular, in developing countries and economies-in-transition.

UNESCO Copyright Bulletin - a free online journal that serves as a great resource for copyright on a worldwide scale
United Nations - international organization of 191 sovereign States, representing virtually every country in the world; founded after the Second World War to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations and promote social progress, better living standards and human rights; the UN Charter spells out their rights and duties of the member states.
United States Institute of Peace - an independent, nonpartisan federal institution created and funded by Congress to strengthen the nation's capacity to promote the peaceful resolution of international conflict.
WomenAction 2000 - communications network and information-sharing strategy designed to allow women in every world region to participate in and impact on the 5-year review of the implementation of the 1995 Beijing Platform for Action.
Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) - works to create an environment of political, economic, social and psychological freedom for all members of the human community, so that true peace can be enjoyed by all.

World Health Organization - the objective of WHO is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health.

World Organization Against Torture USA - a non-profit human rights monitoring, reporting and advocacy group.
World Policy Institute - seeks to offer innovative policy proposals, to promote greater public understanding, and to nurture a new generation of writers and public intellectuals committed to internationalist thinking.
World Trade Organization (WTO) - international organization dealing with the rules of trade between nations; the WTO agreements, negotiated and signed by the bulk of the worldÌs trading nations and ratified in their parliaments, are the founding charter of the organization and the basis for everything the WTO does.
