LAB POLICIES
- Food and drink are not allowed in the computer labs. If you have food or drink, you will be asked to put it away, throw it out, or take it outside the lab.
- Copying software from lab computers is not allowed, either from the hard drive or the network. Not only is copying software against lab policy, it is also illegal in most cases.
- Please pick up your printouts from the printer on a regular basis. Discard any unwanted paper or printouts in the recycle bins or baskets.
- Please report any computer-related problems to the proctor on duty, or to the Office of Computer Services, in 324 Knowles.
- Installing software to, or removing software from, lab computers is not allowed.
- Students are required to provide their own bond-quality paper for use with the resume printers. Proctors or the Office of Computer Services will not provide bond-quality paper.
- Students are expected to clean out their mailboxes if they are 90% or more full. If mailboxes are 90% or more full, they may experience problems receiving new e-mail.
- If a student leaves a computer idle for 20 minutes, the proctor may make the computer available for another student.
- E-mail accounts belonging to graduating students are deleted on October 1st. E-mail accounts belonging to students who withdraw or otherwise leave the School of Law are deleted promptly following the student's departure.
