March 14, 2008: "Storming the Palais de Nations: How Two NUSL Students and One Dean Challenged the US Human Rights Record Before the United Nations." Professor Jim Rowan and students Florence Heuschen and Monica Katz-Lapides will discuss their recent trip to Geneva, Switzerland, where they participated in the CERD conference. At noon in the Brown Conference Room; pizza will be served.
