A planned, or deferred, gift is a wonderful way to support the School of Law. Unlike an outright gift, planned gifts are usually designated to benefit the law school at some point in the future. In return, donors and their families may receive important estate and income-tax benefits, and in some cases, lifetime annual income. Best of all, a planned gift often enables a donor to make a larger gift than would otherwise be possible.
