Types of Admission and Application Check Lists

Northeastern University School of Law's innovative approach to legal education attracts a well-rounded student body whose educational and cultural diversity enriches the process
of learning about the law. Each new class is comprised of approximately 200 individuals with varied life experiences - nurses, musicians, engineers, journalists, educators and political activists, to name a few.

International Applicants
International applicants who have earned undergraduate degrees from institutions outside the United States or Canada should submit official copies of their transcripts to the LSACJD Credential Assembly Service for translation. An explanation of the grading system used on the transcript should be included if it is not easily understood. An undergraduate degree earned outside the United States or Canada is acceptable for admission if it is determined to be equivalent to a bachelor's degree. For students who did not complete their undergraduate work in English, a TOEFL score is necessary.
