Northeastern
University School of Law offers the nation's premier Cooperative Legal
Education Program. This innovative approach to legal education attracts
a well-rounded student body whose educational and cultural diversity
enriches the process of learning about the law. Members of this year's
entering class were selected from a highly qualified pool of more than
3,000 candidates; all demonstrated exceptional accomplishments and the
necessary intellectual and personal skills to be successful in the
study and practice of law. Each new class is comprised of approximately
200 individuals with varied life experiences - nurses, musicians,
engineers, journalists, educators and political activists, to name a
few.
The School of Law is committed to enrolling a diverse student body and,
in particular, to facilitating access to students of color and other
non-traditional applicants who have been historically excluded from,
and underrepresented in, the legal profession.
